Global Engagement Associate

The Opportunity

We are seeking a sharp, high-performing individual to join our team as a Global Engagement Associate , working closely with the KADIN Chairman Office to support Indonesia’s business diplomacy, international positioning, and engagement in global economic platforms such as B20, ASEAN-BAC, and G20. This role is perfect for a junior professional passionate about international affairs, economic diplomacy, and multilateral cooperation

What you’ll be up to in this role

  • Support the coordination and execution of international stakeholder engagements under the KADIN Chairman Office
  • Conduct research and produce briefing notes on international trade policy, business forums, and multilateral agendas
  • Assist in preparing speeches, statements, and strategic communications for high-level global events
  • Maintain up-to-date stakeholder databases, event trackers, and follow-up communications
  • Liaise with international business councils, embassies, and global organizations
  • Prepare agendas and materials for KADIN’s participation in regional or global initiatives
  • Support team logistics for outbound missions, summit participation, or foreign delegation visits

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • Min. 1 year of experience in diplomacy, business associations, government relations, or international organizations
  • Strong understanding of government structures, policymaking processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with high-level stakeholders and media
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work with great attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and effective time management

Bonus points if you

  • Have higher education qualifications from reputable universities in the UK, Europe or the US.
  • Have experience supporting Indonesia’s engagement in ASEAN, B20, or similar forums
  • Have contributed to international summits
