Astrid is an Associate Consultant in Global Health & Life Sciences at Equatorise. She trained as a Biomedical Engineer at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She works at the intersection of emerging technologies, health, and social impact, with experience spanning project management, product development, and consulting.
Prior to Equatorise, Astrid worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Metaverse Lab ITB, supporting the daily operations of AR/VR facilities and helping to organise Metafest, an event connecting academia and industry around immersive technologies. She also gained product development experience at Nalagenetics, where she contributed to pharmacogenomics projects by curating gene–drug combinations, building a clinical knowledge base, and supporting quality assurance processes.
